Subscribing to Okenko Books gives you access to our complete library of books. All
our books are downloaded to your phone and available to you whether you are connect
to the Internet or not. You will get an email reminder each time we publish a new
book every month. Our apps automatically download newly available books for you.
A subscription entitles you to activate up to 5 phones. This means that you can
share your subscription and access your stories from multiple devices.
We currently offer the following subscription terms:
- 1 Year subscription at $15.00 per six months
- 1 Year subscription at $27.00 for the year

What does Okenko Books offer me?
Okenko Books is a subscription service for smart phones that gives you one illustrated story for kids every month.
What smart phones do you support?
We have readers for phones and devices running Android as well as the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. Support is coming for Windows Phone 7 phones.
How do I activate a new phone with my subscription?
Go to Okenko Books, log in, and go to the “My Account” page. There you can activate a new phone as well as manage your list of activated phones. When you choose to activate a new phone, we will send you an email with an activation code. The first time you open the Okenko Books reader on the new phone, you will be asked for the code. You'll need to do this only once and from then onwards the phone will be added to your list of activated phones and your stories will be delivered to it.
Do I have to pay for the reader application?
No, our readers are free, plus you get our first story free!.
How often will I get my stories?
Every month you will get an email notification to your email address that a new story has been published. The next time you open the Okenko Books Reader, the new story will be downloaded automatically. Just click and read.
What kind of stories do you publish?
Our stories are original stories by published and first-time children’s books writers, and cannot be found at any other publisher. Our books range from short rhyming stories to longer stories with more words to task the young reader.
Are the stories illustrated?
Yes, our stories are targeted at kids between the ages of four and eight, and are amply illustrated in a way that resembles classic hard copy books.
Do I have access to previously published stories?
Yes, once you subscribe to our book line, you can read all previously published books from our library. You will see them all in the phone application, so just choose, click, and enjoy.
Are there any games, animated features or quizzes included in your apps?
No, we try to deliver a book-like experience so we don’t distract kids on with various features and add-ons.
Are your stories narrated?
No, there is no voice track for our books as with real books. We are exploring this feature and your feedback is welcome.
Do you have a free trial option?
No we don't, but our reader application includes a free story which will be downloaded automatically for you. Also watch out for promo codes that we occasionally send out. Promo codes give access to a time limited subscription.
When can I cancel my subscription?
At any time, you can cancel your subscription from the My Account page. This will take effect from your next billing cycle.
Do you share my personal information with advertisers or third party companies?
No. Its that simple, never.
